Dec 26, 2009 – bride called hp-09087497817 to clarify the miscommunication reported by Ms. Marie Marayag to Ms. Lusica regarding the time of the prenup photography the following day.
- At the onset on the call Mr Astillero’s voice has been high pitched more than what seemed to be normal. He did not let the bride say anything in edgewise. -
- Ms. Lusica asked if he can lower down his tone since she was becoming stressed and feared for her baby (the bride is 3months pregnant). -
- Mr. Astillero continued to berate her that she was not booked for 10am but 3pm.
- Mr. Astillero insisted that he spoke with Ms. Lusica’s fiancĂ© (Mr. Son Ku). Of which Ms. Lusica asked Mr. Astillero to reconsider his statement since both bride and groom did not have direct nor have knowledge of his contact no. As such, Ms. Lusica even suggested gently that he may have switched schedules with a different client. On which, Mr. Astillero vehemently denied. (Had he checked with his secretary then he would have realized at hand his mistake)
- At that time, Ms Lusica was in such distress that she was in tears while talking to Mr. Astillero and her stomach was in so much pain, that they han to cancel their reservation at the restaurant to rush Ms. Lusica.
- The following day Ms. Lusica asked Mr. Astillero to meet with her personally to settle the issue. The request for meeting personally was to avoid furthermore miscommunication. Eros Portrait declined by way of a rude sms from Mr. ER Astillero (son of the proprietor). Dec 28, 2009 - Secretary of Eros Portrait called Ms. Lusica to apologize for miscommunication from their part and took ownership for the error. No apology was given by Mr. Astillero to Ms. Lusica as of this writing. We are very much offended with the incident and fear for Ms. Lusica’s health. Any mention of Mr. Astillero is causing Ms. Lusica so much distress that we fear for the child in her womb. This should have been a memorable event to be remembered but to continue doing business with you might lead to so much inconveniences and stress to the bride that we are canceling this contract. As a sign of goodwill from you part, we demand that you return the downpayment of php17,500.00 in lieu of the fact that no SERVICE was rendered to Ms. Lusica.

  3. Hey guys, as you said, there has been a miscommunication. But you failed to establish the facts why. Instead of focusing on who said what,I think the perspective should shift to what was said.

    There are always two sides of the story.I believe that in every service rendered by businesses, especially in events, there are contracts involved. The customer should know that there is always a portion of the contract explaining why there are no refunds. I believe the contract was also signed in case since the schedule of pre-nup was set.

    I do not any of the parties personally and I was just reading this as an outsider looking in. Maybe the exchange of heated words were triggered by the miscommunication. Business people are also human too. We just have to hear all stories involved. Thank you very much.

  4. heard too many negative feedback about the eros photographers and had a bad first meeting with him by my wife... this guy is bad news.

  5. Nakakalungkot kasi some Pinoys hindi marunong magbasa ng kontrata. Tapos kapag there's no way na matakbuhan nila yung vendor nila, they would result to badmouthing such as these.

    I believe naman na people are trying to become professionals in dealing with clients. Pero ang kontrata ay kontrata. Pinakita ni Mr. Eros ang sample ng kontratang pinirmahan ng "Marie" na ito sa mga clients niyang nakabasa ng anonymous blog na pinost ng friends ni "Marie". The studio has been documenting all their contracts pala eversince. Nakalagay doon na NO REFUND since the client will book the date and the studio will no longer be allowed to accept other reservations from that date. Sa Law of Economics, opportunity cost ang tawag doon. I'm sure nabasa ni "Marie" ang kondisyon na ito sa contract and yet pumirma siya. Tsk. Tsk. Read first before signing anything :) It really goes back to you guys.

    At saka, kung totoong antipatiko si Mr. Eros, bakit naman niya idadamay ang isang walang muwang na bata at the expense of a downpayment? I-research nyo kaya kung kaninong maimpluwensyang pamilya heredero si Mr. Eros Astillero. UP graduate din siya by the way. Just a piece of my mind for the silent readers.

  6. Kahit pa UP graduate yan. All the more he has to behave like a professional and an educated man.

    This guy is unprofessional. We were a client who fell under his spells of projecting like a professional. But nah-ah.

    Once the deal is done, its done.

    These people who are defending this man could be one of his people.

    There are too many complaints against eros.

    And we had a very bad experience from him and his team. It took a year before they delivered/finished our album, the video was broken useless in short, and only to find out that did not give us the real raw copy. All pixelated when zoomed in including the portrait that they had given us it was not crystal clear. Kaya pala when I asked a photographer to assess the pictures he kept on telling me to get the original raw copy. He shouted and said lots of bad words to me and to my husband. Tsk tsk. He knows how to make patient people impatient.

    This is a warning to those who are about to pick this man. Wrong choice.
